Hey guys,
Save me looking up the crappy rta site, anyone know the NSW rules on getting a bike regod that ran out feb this year?
Bike is under 5years if that means anything and has been registered up untill feb 2012
From my limited knowledge, it won't need a blue slip cause it any 3mnths yet, and pink slips only apply to bikes 5yrs old, so is it just a matter of forking out some cashola and she's good to go?
Cheers guys

If you have the old papers, just rock up and pay it.

Are you the previous registered owner in NSW?
If so then see above.
You can either go for new rego (from date of payment) of renewal of old rego (backdated to time it ran out - Feb) so you miss out on a couple of months rego but you don't have to buy a new plate as you would with a new rego.
Previously registered outside NSW?
Will need blue slip (identity check)

Last registed in NSW and I wasn't the previous owner.
So if I just go in and pay I loose two months Rego but don't have to get a new plate or inspection??

From another state????
If so don't do it. As I was told when I brought mine from Vic, they need at least 2 years history of reg or otherwise they dot want to touch it more or less
