Earth hour to go to extremes next year

The govt had released a media announcement that next year for earth hour all power stations will be shut down. :shock:

They have advised that as we have a full year to plan, and it's only for 1 hour there should be little inconvenience. :roll:

Better get some candles guys and gals unless you have a portable generator. :kuda:

I'd be very surprised if it happens .


To many infrastructure necessities to think about eg hospitals , water stations , street lights etc etc

Bugger sprung...There was a talk back show on ABC radio last night and they had this going for about an hour. Started with an report from a supporters group for earth hour that recommended heaps of things like driving without lights, using bonfires for light etc etc.

Great listening to all the people that fell for it... :twisted:
