no worries HBB
Glenno - not 100% sure that I know this bike, but I have a feeling I might know the owner. Having a closer look at the front end - those calipers are not stock Z1A units, they are later units from a '76 model. I think it might have a 4-bolt front hub as well - stock Z1A hubs were 6-bolt hubs. This means that the entire front end could have been lifted from a 76 model or be a combination of parts ? Its not an issue unless the buyer wants a concours model - only trainspotting anoraks notice these things

Mmmm I think I might know one of them
So as a non stocker if it really is as good as it looks is it worth the kind of dough he's asking?

pretty much. 12.5k is a good price for a Z1A in this condition - you would offer him 10 and see how it goes - especially if you could bargain about the non-stock bits? The thing with the rotors is, you would not know the difference unless you had a bog-stocker ( like my Z1A) up against his bike.
It would not really cost that much to sort out the front end back to stock Z1A anyway.....with the right contacts
