Comprehensive Insurance

I have just been online and getting quotes for renewing my insurance and wanted to know if anyone has had any dealing, good or bad, with Bingle Insurance Co. They have come in significantly cheaper $460 cheaper than the next cheapest, with the rest within $400 of each other. All other things seem to be fairly comparable ie. excess, types of cover and whats covered etc.
It's almost a case of too good to be true, so it has me slightly concerned with them, so I thought and see if anyone has anything to say about them.

Go for it, but check their repairers, make sure they are reputable..

pay excess regardless of who is at fault
no choice of repairer, if their choice of repairer is not in your town have to pay towing fees to closest repairer.
increase to "rates" a few hundred dollars after claim.
walk away as soon as you can

I'm with Insure my Ride. $360 for twelve month for my 2007 ZX6. I thought that was pretty reasonable.

..just been thru getting LOTS of quotes for (2) cars..as bloody AAMI put rates up 40+% with no claims
and reduced the agreed values by more than 15%..in 1 year
moved to Budget Direct for both..back to a proper agreed value, protected Rating 1 + hire car
and saved close to $500 a year compared to AAMI renewals rates
(Note AAMI are part of Suncorp ..who also have Shannons Vero GIO Bingle and Just Car Ins and APIA ..and others)
plus I just moved from Shannons back to Swann for the bike..mainly coz Shannons dropped the agreed value for the 12R.. 18% in 1 year!
but only a small increase in premium (again with no claims). saved $220 on that too

Shannons rocks, multi policy discount. It helps that we have three bikes and two cars on the one policy, and contents insurance with them too.

shannons dont rock for me even though i have comp. car insurance with them
multi policy for $1000 for comp. insurance on the ninja 250r for $6999 with the car insurance "pathetic"
insure my ride $340 for $6999
nrma $360 for $6999
wtf!!!
i have 65% for life and no fines, claims since i got my l's to drive

not for me....
had bike with them + one car = multi policies
go to add another car..yep their quote $400 more than the exorbitant AAMI (increased) quote
AAMI was $720 last year ....wanted $990 for renewal this year. Shannons ???
hello ...how does $1399 grab ya? NOT!
so the bike's gone (Swann was cheaper) the Astra has gone to Budget Direct (see above)
and the Commodore ( due at the end of the month) is going to Auto and General (backers of Budget Direct)
Shannons = another Suncorp ripoff
