Hey all,
I'm going to do a Service on my zzr1100 which I bought a couple days ago just wondering what oils u guys would reccomend.

I used a full sythetic on my last bike but read the 1100s prefer to run a semi synthetic I tried to find.where I read that buy have had no luck,
So what do u guys recon i should run, I'm prity easy on price aslong as I can get oil and filter for under or around $100

A lot here swear by Motul 5100. I've used it in all my roadies and it's been great. I flick it over every 3000klm's or so.

I think if you get any Motorcycle Semi Synth you'll be fine. I've heard the critical issue is to pick one and stick to it though

I use Silkolene, have done for years. Fully synthetic track, semi synthetic road.

As for plugs, not sure the iridium will make much difference, they're best suited to recent fueling systems. Stock or split fire are much cheaper & just as effective.

While your doing filters, check ya air filter. A dirty filter kills the mixture

i also use the motul 5100 in my 1100, the dealer used it in the service records so i just went with the same thing.

i just changed mine a couple days ago @ 2000km but i got sluged $80 for it, might have to go to a different bike shop i think and not the closest 1 lol

My old road Zx9 did 190,000 plus on it and its still going on the motul 5100.Try and but it from your mechanic from his bulk drum and its cheaper,as long as your on his good side could cost ya about $60 for 4 litres including filter ;)
