As some will know I have been flat out working on "The Shed"
This is all great , but the veggie garden has been suffering from lack of attention and with the run of stinking hot weather .
Since I have read about the upcoming end of the world as we know it , perhaps its time to share our collective knowledge on growing veggies
To start with , I have tried to grow cabbage this season without much success . The tommy plant is also struggling .
Any suggestions ?

Use some form of shit mixed in with the dirt, preferably some form of herbivorous animal shit. If you turn Vegetarian you can probably recycle your own.
Helpful?
...by the way Cabbage??????? what are you thinking, surely some form of grape would be more suitable... you know....like......one stone, two birds ??

1- Cabbage is a winter veg, since you're in vic you should be planting out around march.
2- the heat will knock your matoe around, try watering early evening. They also seem to get a lot of viruses, Wilt is probably the most common. Not much you can do with that.
HTH
anything else?
