Cool...Nothing like 'real' bikes although competition will improve them in leaps and bounds...can't wait to see the improvement next year.
Maybe one day when oil is gone this will be the way we ride.

This will make the Greens Very Happy & also the Greens run ALP , maybe julia Gillard can advise the Manx Government to charge a carbon tax on the petrol powered motorcycles to race @ the IOM
The petrol powered motorcycles are the only way to go & electric powered bikes maybe the way of the future some like to think , but am all for the now very clean running 4 stroke petrol powered 200+ HP combustion engined motorcycles . nothing can replace the spine tingling feeling one gets when a full combustion engined powered motorcycle is flying past you only meters from you @ 200+mph @ the Isle OF Mann TT , electric bikes shouldnt be allowed on this hallowed road racing track .

Back in the day horse riders used to say that about cars.
If it wasn't for innovation and competition we would all still be walking...

I don't like the fact that they do not produce any exhaust noise; however the hp & torque numbers they produce is impressive.
Honda had there electric concept bike @ tokyo motorshow in japan on show a few week back.
I have tried one of the 'Zero' dirt bikes. Really amazing. You literally turn it on like a computer.
The battery life is the only thing that is really limiting these bikes.
