The W800 - Who Has One?

As the title suggests, does anyone here have a W800? I am looking for a commuter bike to save the wear and tear on the Zed in the daily grind, and the Dubya looks like an interesting alternative.

For those that dont know what they are:

I Know a bloke here in Canberra that has one as his every day ride. Taking it on a tassie trip soon.

Only problem he had with it so far was replacing the tyres with OEM rubber. Couldn't get them, so got something better.

They are a nice bike to ride and enough go to handle the commuting duties.

Yeah different size wheels, I think 19" front and 18" rear, so tyres would be an issue....
also not keen on the brakes, single disc front and drum rear, but hey, we used to survive on that back then, so could be ok.

I don't like the idea of a drum rear brake either, but then again if you want to go quick then this isn't the bike. I have been looking at something like a Sprint, 1250FA, and maybe even a Ninja 1000 (I already have a Zed though), but everytime I see the W800 I just have to have one. I had a sit on a W800 and it does feel comfy, but I am more interested in whether it can handle 110km/h down the freeway for any length of time without falling apart. Time for a test ride me thinks!

If i could afford a new bike, I'd want to get one of these, or maybe the Z1000R...
