Camry vs RX7

Post by Kermit »

On Lord Howe Drive.

Anyone care to take a stab what caused this to happen?

rx7 running up the rear at high speed... hard on brakes but didn't pull up in time, up and under the camry rear end.

Thats a guess, and not a good one as the damage doesn't support my theory (which is mine and that it is).

As there's no corners i'd guess the camry was impatient to go around someone, cut around into the right side of the road, saw the rx7, cut back, didn't do it hard /fast/early enough, rx-7 got on the anchors, rear of camry slid up the rx-7. Anyone got a better idea than that, i'm all ears.

Camry on the wrong side of the road, RX7 pulls to the left to avoid a head on, but the Camry front off side wheel stills climbs the front of the RX7. The Camry driver instictively is braking and turning back to his side of the road. Near side front wheel locks up and spins the Camry to it's resting place. Note the skid mark running about 30cm inside the fog line ;)

Now what did I win

or the Fully sick Cab and the Fully sick RX7 were drag racing and a there was a broken down Camry in the middle of the road

For the money I can't see any skid marks, maybe just a seam in the road. I think the Camry had either reversed or driven out of a driveway into the path of the oncoming rx7. Rx7 had to hit the skids to avoid collision diving the front end, and scooping up the camry.

Maybe.

Reverse parking gone wrong!

Had to be reversing out of a driveway and the fully sick RX7 had nowhere to go
