Im looking for an issue of Two Wheels Magazine which has a story on Robert McDonough.

Bob is an old racer with an amazing life history, he is also a family friend. Dad told me he has been admitted to hospital and is not doing well at all trying to fight his cancer.

* I have contacted Two Wheels.. waiting..

Grateful for any help :D

OH WOW! Thank you. That would have been one of his last (if not the last race) he competed in. Bob or 'Old Bob' as I know him is a determined old bugger. His mind is certainly no match for his body these days and in 2008/09 he asked my brother to race/ride a number of his bikes at the Honda Bonanza. The joy on his face showed his passion. I will dig up some pics when I go back to Vic in December 8)

The article im looking for is a 3 to 4 page spread which covers his life.

Think I've got most of those issues in a box in the shed. Had a quick look at a few but the table of contents is pretty crap.

Bob himself found the information I was looking for. I was ment to pick it up from him when I picked my bikes up.
He was also excited to hear i was going to do my first track day and wanted to be there.

Robert McDonough died on Thursday.

Its a very sad loss. He was an old school biker who had an amazing life on two wheels, you will be sadly missed.
Condolenses to family and friends in the Goulburn Valley.

I will still post up the article when I get it. It's a great read.

Old bikers never die Poss, they just go to the big track in the sky! :)

Condolences to all who knew him.

I voted no for the like button mod but that's an awesome quote Aardy and a good way to look at it, goes for young bikers too, ie Super Sic.
