New Versys 1000.

Rumours are that Kawasaki will be realeasing a Versys 1000 in 2012. Apparently based on the Z1000/Ninja 1000 engine and chassis, with long travel suspension and upright seating possy. I havn't seen any pics yet, but, it could put a ninja 1000 on hold as I reckon a versys in a 1000cc would be wicked.

Would be interesting, but I aint ready for that yet although it does have merit transporting between tar roads

Well, they had real pics of the new Versys 1000 from one of the shows in AMCN's latest issue. It is as ugly as the 650 Versys which is great, as they will be cheap 2nd hand, which is how I will buy one. Although I prefer the styling of the Ninja1000, I like the long travel suspension of the Versys and the built in anal intruder. This comes self powered for those long trips. Should make riding even more enjoyable.
Traction control and switchable maps are standard fare also. It looks perfect for the riding I intend but will probably never do.......

It looks brilliant - apart from the uglyest stock exhaust I have ever seen - pity I am happy with my current fleet as I reckon it would be a ball tearer
