I have not been happy with the servicing carried out by my local KAWA dealer so this (36,000km) service I am doing myself.
Will be taking my time and using the genuine workshop manual:
- change oil & filter DONE $106- change coolant DONE $50
- replace chain & sprockets DONE $195
- clean air filters FAIL(foam disintergrated in my hands), ordered new K & N items as cheaper/better than genuine $102.50
- cleaned all the oil from the engine and oil is leaking from valve cover gasket & not the cam sensor, so will replacea s been leaking since its last service by the dealer! $173
- replace spark plugs $
- front brake discs need replacing, using MetalGear replacements & pads $440
- front caliper rebuild, no leaks but I think there may be at least one seized piston? $???
- cold start cable is broken again, replaced by dealer last time! $??
- replace footpeg rubbers $44Anything else I should do?
- New front tyre (Michelin)$

you could check the valve clearance while you have the rocker cover off just to make sure they are right..

do the rear pads as well. Lube the clutch cable.

Doing the clearances on a 12 takes a bit of time, and a lot of patience.
