Hey guys and gals, I'm Justin and I am the fool that got the '86 Red/White/Blue GPz600r off Ebay recently if anyone saw it! Well a similar bike was my introduction to sportsbikes in about '87 and always had a place in my little heart. Now I bought one cheap as a project and it does not work. Seems to be and ignition problem judging by the ZX1100 ignition unit but i am no mechanic. Any clues or help out there would be well recieved so Thanks in advance. The bike has spent a lot of its time right on the coast so there could be dodgey conections everywhere. It has been around the clock too. Well thanks for having me on board and I would like to get this thing going and catch up with you guys soon. I live in Bilpin, married, 42yrs old, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 cockatoo, 1 Katana 1100, 1 Hayabusa and my car is a Charade but it is cheap and helps me have Bikes so i dont really care about that. Cheers good people and take care!

Thanks guys. Bike has spark but i have not had the plugs out yet and don't have eqipment to do a compression test. Really keen to understand is the ZX1100 ignition unit will do the right job or not. Gotta get to Kelen Kawasaki for sure. Hey Wattie, Bligh Park is just down the road. Did you go to Colo High and if so when? I am one of 4 brothers so we may be familiar other than Kawasaki blood!! Cheers guys. I am used to power having a Hayabusa, but still beat fools up on the Bells Line of on my 28 year old Kat, but want to see this 600 running for old times sake. Reckon I'll be a little quicker into and through these corners on the 600. Should be fun.

I don't get to the Heights much, except for the occassional feed on the cheap midweek specials

or a Sunday Pizza..
Most of my spare time is spent at the Royal in Richmond....
The 14 looks a lot like this...
