Well Kazz was having a girlfriend over so i decieded mmm should go for a ride.So of to reefton i went, roads were increably quiet from st andrews to reefton. No police anywhere,so had a really good run until the return .About 2 ks from intersection bike ran a bit wide on one corner
I thought this strange as i had been working on some lines. So being a little bemused i toned it down for the next corner and guess what ,
Yep some looseness in the rear end  .I then thought u barstard bet ya i got a flat. so i trundleed along trying to get to the intersection so i wasnt stranded on some corner. Not much fun riding around corners on a flat rear tyre but it was all good and it dont think i destroyed it.Hope not its not that old.So called Racv then about 3 hours later a tow truck arrived loaded her up and proceeded back home.
it was 101 ks in the tow truck which cost me Zero dollars as i have total care, this the second time i have been towed for 100ks last time it was a fuel pump 15 ks out of marysville so this shit definetly pays for its self. The irony of all of this is i have a bike trailer at home but where its parked Kazz would not have been able to attach it to my car anyway. So long story long great day for the most part long slow drive home.
I also found out why no police in reefton on a sunny sunday.Yep there on a slack period because of pay dispute going on,i thought it was very strange wish i had known that before taking of ;)

Rode from Lilydale to Daylesford through Whittlesea and Romsey. Saw one cop for the day in Yarra Glen. Hadn't been riding up there before and there are some nice roads.

Yep it was a small tent like peg, took it to be plugged but it pierced right at where the steel belts join so its screwed.Meanwhile i had wacked on a brigestone 003 of my track bike.I have ordered another M5 locally today and it looks like tyre prices are dropping here. Was told by one shop that from october tyre prices will drop dramaticly.Alsp picked up a set of second hand wets $100 one is a michelin and the other a bridgestone, yeah they dont match but gotta be better than street tyres on a wet track.

Managed to pick up a 190/50 metzler M5 for $220 a lot cheaper than i thought they would be
Considering they want 192.00 from US its a no brainer and my money stays here.I hope this is the begining of good priced tyres in australia.

Is the Total Care for your car and the bike is covered under it or is there a separate one for motorbikes?.

I've got Total Care and I knew it covered my pushy if I break down....but motorbike?

Thanks Mal.

Seems like the $181.46 per year membership is worth every cent.

I've had this coverage for about 5 years and have only used it once for my daughter's car, but never considered that the bike was covered. I should read the fine print more carefully.

Ey Mal, roads were quiet ey! I went up to Eildon with a large group of idiots and there were no cops cept one 4wd parked on the side of the road somewhere out of Whittlesea... Was great... MATE I can't thank you enough for your tips when we ride, people are in shock when they see my beloved shitheap getting thrown into corners, people on cbrs and r1's I was passing coz they just didn't turn their bikes at all lol and then think their cool on straights.... One guy ended up catapulting off a corner and getting launched 20 metres airborne into a creek... lol ...... I even had the self control to not ride a cbr1000rr streetfighter offered to me at yea. Cofusious say...LOL

Glad to hear your tow truck eventually turned up..
I was the chicky on the Z750 who stopped briefly to get some blood circulation back in my hands and feet.. :-)

I keep meaning to look into the RACV total care options, I have tire and rim coverage but it that is all it covers..
