Just got a message thru the MCoNSW that the long rumoured race track near Raymond Terrace (newcastle area) has finally got DA approval.
Looking to be ready mid next year..
There website is also running - but under construction atm - should be live next week with updates.

Woo back there fellas. Is this the same plan as was rejected by the NSW planning mob?
If it is I cant see them changing their minds. The DA has always been in place, but was always rejected by the pt stevens council. They just kept comming up with reasons why they wouldnt pass it. Thats how it ended up in the courts. So the only way to get it up would be to dump the old plan, & re submit a new plan. So just what are we getting?? that is the question I'd be interested in..

Cool. We are moving to the central coast then. EC is getting too expensive so hopefully this track won't be as pricey.

Bring it on...... I knew there was a reason my Trackie didn't sell, now I might look at an upgrade to a later model

New State Government, and no more Frank (law unto himself) (not in my backyard) (you'll do as I say) Sartor
So hopefully it goes through....

If it has DA approval then it is good to go. If a DA is rejected, it's just a matter of addressing the issues listed by the council and resubmitting it. It sounds like it has finally gone through and been approved this time.

Yes I understand that, but what exactly has been passed, & was it the original DA, or a new one??
