If this gets some legs I will post in the appropriate area.
.. But.
Some of you may have been bored enough to read about my two week trip arond Vic and SA last year
http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 49&t=30663
This year Me and my BEAUTIFUL Wife
are off to Tassie with her Sister and Brother Inlaw
This time my Brother Inlaw ( those who were there to see me take out third place
at the Karts at EC would have met Greg) and I are going to ride to Melb Wed 12th, Thur 13th or Fri 14th OCT 2011, get the ferry to tassie and get the girls from the airport in Hobart.
IT WILL BE WEEK DAYS riding to Mel from Syd as we need to be in Tassie before the weekend.
Greg and I intend to take a few days to ride from Syd - Melb, prob via Cooma, over the Snowys to, say Porepunkah, then into Mel to catch the ferry across.
I was thinking that it might be a good chance for some of the NSW and ACT crew to come down, and some of the Vic crew to come up for an overnighter to catch up.
Last year we stayed at the Porepunkah Pub which was very reasonable in price and had under over parking for the bikes.
Cost WAS $75 twin share including a dinner ( Set Menu ) which was fantastic, and although we have not booked thats the area we would be aiming to get to.
We are planning the trip anyway so if there is any interest I'm happy to co ordinate a KSRC get together
Any takers?
Rusty
