Which site do you use to search parts / buy? For ZXR750 (H1)

Hi all,

My old ZXR750 is back on the road after 7 years of waiting patiently in the garage.

I need a few bits, and I placed an order on http://www.xtremepowersports.com for a pile of genuine Kawasaki bits that I could not get locally for my '89 ZXR750 H1.

After about a week, I received an email from Paypal telling me that my money had been refunded.

I contacted xtremepowersports.com and asked what went wrong, assuming parts not available or similar. However after a few days, I still have no response.

Which website have you guys used to buy your Kawaskai bits from?

Amongst the order for clips and brackets, the parts I really needed are the air box baffle tubes and and a radiator hose which runs down from the thermostat housing to connect to a pipe just above the header pipes on the front of the motor.

Are the parts just no longer available? Surely out of the 10 or so items I ordered a couple would have been available? Either way, I have not received a response from these guys, only a refund note from paypal.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a good supplier, I would really appreciate it.

at least you got your money back and as for parts you are probably better of getting onto US ebay if cant buy over the counter and purchase that way,but be prepared postage can be a killer.
You could also use http://www.findapart.com.au/thanks_part.php

Give Bob a ring at team moto Brisbane, 07 3665 2080 ext 4. He has been very helpful for me and has come up with some rare parts.
Best if you can supply him part numbers.

I just lost 4 hours of my life eye balling endless ebay listings. Turned up nothing I need unfortunately. I will call Team moto on Monday and see if they can help. Thanks for the tip!

I got some stuff through Aitkens when they were a sponsor for a 1991 model, have you double checked with your local dealer that they can't get the stuff from Japan?

Get on to Ronnie's Parts Finder in the US. They have the best prices and use OEM Manuals and parts. Shipping time is good if in stock, my last delivery took 3 days!! If not in stock, expect up to 3 weeks. Colleen in sales is good value to.
Good luck - Phoenix

Like every site on the net, none of them have access to parts. They are fine if you want a screw or a washer, but anything more than that for an older model and you are out of luck.

Can give this mob a try, http://www.powersedge.com/pages/parts/v ... asaki.aspx they've been able to help me out with my 99 ZR7 in the past, just remember model coding in the US is often different to ours, from memory I think yours over there was sold as a ZX750-H1 Ninja

The ZXR750 H1 was sold as a Ninja ZX-7 in the US.

I have been through all the sites. Emailed them asking for parts which they tell me are in stock only to find out that its rubbish!
