Cleaning up and found a pic of my first owned bike, 99 ER5 with the plate YY001 and the memories came rushing back. With the characteristics of a little tractor, it wasn’t even 12 hours old and I dropped it in gravel on my rounds showing it off (heavy cow of a thing) With in 24hours the bars were straightened and a new magnum exhaust was fitted.

Before the 5, I was riding my brothers 175 Honda for about a month, the family still has this bike. I don’t have an original pic on hand, but it looked like this.. Anyone got picks of your first mount?

Suzuki GZ250 Marauder. My brother bought it, and it passed from him to me to my dad to my cousin. Then we sold it to a guy who wrote it off within a month.

Had a CT90 dual Hi/Lo range ag bike for the farm but the first bike dad bought my brother and I was the Honda Dax 70.

This was my first bike honda 450 twin except it was Blue,bought it from a friend of my mothers.From that day on she never spoke to him again
and told me your not living here and rididng a motorcycle.So i moved out smashed it into a car 6 months later and mum decieded ok you better come home.So i did and with my broken bike which i refitted new front end and exaughst bars etc as the old girl had hit the first car on the front guard slid across and slammed into the grill of a old toyota.That was 34 years ago and that time i didnt break any bones dont ask me how i suppose i was a bit lucky

Didnt know that, but I did know I was the only kid on the block that had one when they all had XR75's and such, so uncool

What was even rarer was a bike dad had bought outback SA in the late 1970's incase his ute broke down for like $150, it was a HD 80cc sprint. Harely D bought out an italian scooooterrerer maker, it had HD engine covers and colors and everything, I think HD bought them all back in embarrasment, apparently only 15 made to Oz, they were woeful

He got it home and number one son here could wait to get it off the ute and it wouldnt start, it never started easily without a mile of pushstarting

This is my first. 1972 Suzuki GT250, the first of the Suzuki 250's with a disc brake.

First road bike was in 1989 (edit* IT was stolen from me at Renmark SA)

First bike was one of these but in red First bike I rode on the road was one of these But then I upgraded to one of these loved that bike until I T boned an EH Holden ........

Bought in June 2004 and I barely rode it for the first six months because it was too much power for me (if they had of had the CBR125 back then I would so have gotten one of those...)

First bike was a Dexson, I think it was a delta, so not this exact one, about 1970. The rear sprocket was almost as big as the tyre and it used to throw the chain when I went around a left hander Firts road bike was a Suzuki GS550L, (1982 model from memory) similar to this one.... almost a chopper, well I thought so at the time....

My first, cheap and pretty reliable.
