Ban pushies from there and there goes half the reason for the 60 zone. Get rid of rubber neckers and tourists and they can jack the speeds back up to 80/100 :D

Pushies have a lane of their own and pay nothing
We pay extra for every bloody thing and so therefore should have our own speed limit
and special allowances! :x

Please explain...to the uninitiated... :?

What is the great attraction to this bit of tarmac...given the attention from the plod...
Great company can be had anywhere... :kuda:
Bike can be ridden (almost) anywhere... :kuda:
There are other roads with bendy sections...surely

I suppose I'm spoilt for good roads free from unwanted attention so unsure why the attraction...

It is not a sook when you are alerting the motorized public about an ungoverned hazard, which is what you guys/girls are. Whinge about safety yet you bring it on yourselves. Whinge about road rage yet you bring it on yourselves. Whinge about equality yet when you are given your own farking lanes you do t use them. Whinge about road shoulders not being kept In a viable state of repair yet you pay nothing toward road costs to get the privilege to Whinge.

I have nothing against pushbikes just the arrogant egotistical farkheads that ride them. Do it to yourselves I say. I have all the time in the world to the pushbike riders thAt care about others. Matter of fact I feel the same about drivers that care about others and we all know how rare that is these days.

You are VERY spoilt for roads down your way John. It's not a bad bit of road with a couple of nice sections and if you live in the south of Sydney it's the only decent twisty road around.

I headed up that way to catch up with the Sydney guys as we would get a nice size group of capable riders and have FUN. Unfortunately after today's run I won't be heading up there again in a hurry as the pushies, police and incompetent Sydney drivers have made it a nightmare to ride through now. Luckily for me there are a few good roads in the other direction, so I will be heading down that way from now on.

The road we are talking about has no shoulder at all, is very narrow and lots of blind corners. Pretty much the whole thing is double unbroken lines which a car HAS to cross if there is even one bike staying to the left of the lane, unfortunately the pushbike riders that use this road are selfish idiots and don't stay to the left and often ride two, three or even four abreast blocking the entire lane. Countless times we have had to jump on the anchors hard when they block the entire lane and a car is coming the other way or it is a blind corner, or, we have come around a corner to find a car half in our lane that was going around one or more pushbikes coming the other way.

The fact that to go around them you HAVE to break the law or follow them doing 20km/h for 10 km before you get an opportunity to pass should be enough of a reason to ban them from this road but the stupid government decided in their wisdom to drop the speed limit from 100 to 80 and then to 60 and make a small fortune fining drivers who pay for the priveledge to use the road instead. I guess it pays to have someone who rides pushbikes on the road safety commission, eh?

Now if you fit into the same categories as the fuckwits that ride up this way then I hope you don't sook too much when you eventually get taken out. On the other hand, if you are one of the few who don't inconvenience every other road user when you ride, then I suggest you keep the inflamitory comments to yourself or people might assume you are a dick just like the others. People sook about pushbikes for a reason. If they didn't ride like selfish pricks, no-one would complain.

I am just surprised that not more people are dead becuase of these tour de france riders. In one case there was an actual support vehicle behind them meaning NO cars could pass at all :x

Plenty of filth around the good bikes rioads in Vic to....hiding out in the bushes playing big foot.......yep.....i have been an advocate for ages about Psuh bike riders having to pay some kind of rego to ride on the road for ages....say like $30-$50 dollars and they get a sign on their license and what not.....that way thay can finally contribute to all the extra stuff they get from us (im a pushie rider to and happy to pay)
