No this is not a girl ive met

Thanks to IAMSLO who i bought the bike off Im very happy with it!

Jenny is a 2010 Ninja 250 SE that i bought tonight for the total amount of $1000 which will be converted to a track bike! Why a 250 you may ask? 1. because i havent got the money for a 6 and 2. its better to learn on ( in my opinion anyway)

But before i start with the conversion ill be stripping the whole thing down and inspecting every part as it is a STAT write off and want to be sure everything is ok...

So far from what what i can see from the outside there is nothing wrong with the bike... lights work, engine is in excellent condition with only 22000kms on the clock, suspension feels fine, theres a few scratches and crack on 2 fairings but nothing serious, it has crash knobs.

From what ive been told swing arm is bent ( will look into that as i can slightly feel the wobblyness) but other than that perfect candidate for a 250 tracky!!

hahaha posted up here already. wow man your gutsy to turn it into a tracky, I was thinking that as well but i wimped out. well I guess just gotta be carefull when measuring up the dimensions and pray everything else is still straight.

As for me I might be looking up an rs 125 to hit up EC, hope I see a restored Jenny on the track running EC, shame on her fate though looked after her well, too well, wasted an insurance claim to fix up a learners drop, premium increase and all, then to have a cager ruin her , ack fuck it all done now rant over.. Good luck dude and see ya on the creek

Well ive had the fairings off and apart from all the dirt and grime, it all looks well, need more daylight to inspect the swingarm and the suspension and tail of the bike, also may need a spare set of good eyes, if anyone knows what to look for i could surely use your help! :kuda:

From the infinite wisdom of Glenn at Allfixed ride it down a straight line from a long distance away directly at the observer and they compare the front and rear wheel lines and tilt/twist of the bike, then apply a lifetime as a bike mechanic to what you observe and you can tell what's going on :)

Hth, but you're gonna be tipping into turn 1 at about 180k right, so I wouldn't be relying on my 2nd hand advice I'd be getting it to someone like Glenn and letting them do the detective work :kuda:
