Just had a quick go.

It has changed a little from last year so i will point out the main changes that I have seen so far.

- Arcade mode has been given the axe. You have 3 modes now Low, Med, High Sim.
- Still has the Superstock, Supersport and Superbike series
- Cant seem to back it in as well as SBKX
- Handling is a little more touchy. The change of direction happens alot faster.
- Throttle response seems to be more notchy and maybe more realistic (I used to flutter the throttle to get out of corners quickly without wheelspin. Cant do that now)
- Graphics seem to be a bit better
- Audio of the bikes are a lot more realistic. You can now hear the traction control kick in and quick shifter pop.
- Computer opponents are alot faster. You cant simply outbrake them as easy anymore.
- From first appearences they have tried to bring braking markers, conrner speed and laptimes back to a more realistic benchmark.

Oh did I mention it has the new 10r :kuda:

EB games has it for $49 brand new atm

I picked it up last wkend for $35 much better than 09 version. The handling improvements are great. I didn't play SBKX so It's a very different game now.

Are we going to do a lap time challenge again? Should we get Disco to organise it? :-P

I have the X and played it for a bit but didn't have enough 'motivation' to pursue it and Black Ops got in the way big time...

Good to hear about changing directions easier. It was always my main problem with the game. The sound is def a good addition as well! 8)

I liked X's direction changes, the superbikes weren't as twitchy and less responsive than the supersports, as it should b. Both got better with upgrades, I am in my 5th year of career mode however. I might just grab 11 this weekend, probably the only way ill ever beat blurr

I just grabbed it, its too twitchy. Hard to make small changes like on the straight to get near the edge of the track. And the rear brake does a lot less if u use it to tighten your line mid corner, i used it excessively on x but on this one it doesn't do much
