Yes, quite a few more. The change in government is the biggest opportunity for a change for the better (or worse if they decide to remain close minded or some greedy assholes get their views in first).

Also an online petition doesn't have nearly the weight of a written petition unfortunately, which itself has less weight than a craptonne of letters written, signed and posted in.

True, but good luck getting as many people writing in letters, or traveling around the country getting a written petition signed. Even if it doesn't work, it still beats doing nothing to try
