How much would you pay for photos of you riding on the road?
I am thinking of taking some pictures of people riding on the road and selling them to the riders.
What is a fair price for a good quality picture? $0-9, $10-20, $21-30, $31-40, $40+?
Personally wouldn't mind paying $20-40 for a picture depending on how good I look in it
Any comments would be appreciated

Coppers don't take your picture though do they?

Probably be taking pictures on a corner so if you were on one wheel it I would give you the pic for free

I have done a lot of cycling events where photoraphers are there to capture the moment when you are struggling like crap
like the recent trip from Mansfield to Mount Buller the to Jamieson and back to Mansfield.
very tough ride but 2 lots of photographers were there, they usually charge around $30 and up for photos i think they are a bit pricy
and never buy them as entry into the events is usually expensive.
but you can check out sites like Fuse photography or funphotos they have price lists for the different sizes.

Why would you bother ? Even track-day photos can be pretty ordinary, and they want $30+ for these !!!

indeed. I guess the target market would be people who dont race on the track. I have seen a few websites with track pics of all the people, they were pretty average

i'd be much happier if you spent less time on the pics, and charged $5 a pic, then if i want you to pretty one up i could pay you $15 for that pic... then again i could just photoshop your pic myself, but id be willing to help a fellow rider out... id say charging more than $10/pic would mean waaay less people actually pay

Are we talking for a print or a digital file?
I reckon $20 would be comfortable for most people .
Like Kaneg the last picture i got cost a bit more .$361.00

Every time I go through that corner and hit that bump I wonder how in hell he got the front wheel to lift there
