Putty Yesterday

Guys,
I just heard on the radio on the way in, 2 riders killed yesterday on the Putty, head on with a oncoming car who was on the wrong side of the road overtaking
Anybody have a link?
RIP to guys or girls and condolences to the families involved

Here is a link ..... it happened minutes after we left the new cafe in Mellong.... its the one after 1/2 way roadhouse.
Was a group coming back from Robyn's shindig apparently

Bloody horrible new's

.....I think we may have been very lucky we left when we did could very easily have been us....

I saw a red ute around then yesterday as we were slabbing it after the half way house, one of the riders involved on a gsxr was possibly riding with us through the first twisties before the halfway house?

Yeah I remember thinking it could have been a cop coming the other way, because you couldn't pick it as a ute from the front. The guy with us had a ventura rack and bag too.

Too close for comfort guys, I can vaguely remember the red ute but I don't really want to think too much about it ...... Its a sombre day today

Sorry news.....If it was in Vic the driver would prob get off with a fine and us bikers would have to pay an even bigger levy and we would be targetted in sum operation.
