Event Details
As water begins to recede in many devastated areas in both Queensland and around the Nation, the Riders’ Division of Motorcycling Australia (MA) is preparing to hold three charity Motorcycle Rodeo’s in: Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales.

The Rodeo’s will consist of Motorcycle Gymkhana events, games and precision riding displays; are available for riders aged from seven years and over, and are open to all skill levels.

Just bring your bike, providing it’s in safe condition and not too rowdy, have some fun with your fellow riders while donating to a good cause – For obvious reasons this will be an alcohol-free event.

Entry at the gate will be a gold coin donation, and Registration to ride at the event is $50 per person (all of which will be donated) – and this includes a Single Recreational Licence (valued at $20) and free yearly membership to the Riders’ Division (valued at $35), making the Moto Rodeo’s a great day out!

MA is encouraging riding schools and other skilled riders to put teams of pairs or fours together for the precision riding displays with a prize for best presentation.*

Riders interested in participating can pre-register by contacting MA’s Riders’ Division on the following details or by turning up on the day:

Rob Smith and Michael Stafford
Phone: 0396840509
Email: membership@ma.org.au

*Display and Gymkhana rules will be made available upon registration.

If you’d rather come and watch, enjoy a BBQ and good company, please bring a gold coin donation to help those in need affected by the floods.

All donations will be handled by the Salvation Army, providing assistance to those in need.

Stay tuned and dig deep

Did anyone notice this event?According to the current issue of mcn it had a grand total of one entrant.Yes ONE.And half a dozen spectators by the sounds of it.This was the third event they have organised and they have almost raised there goal amount(combined) of $2000.They are only $900 short.WTF??

I know that you guys here raised $2000 alone which is an outstanding effort.Kudos and kudas to all those who contributed. But whats the go with the rodeo show.Am i not reading this story correctly?
The two stories, one about KSRC's contribution and the other that had the rodeo one were on the same page in the last issue.
