I've been hearing around that if you convert your bike to a single seater that you can get cheaper rego?
Is that the case for Victorian rego holders?
It's just that I have already removed the pillion seat and pegs, as I like the look without. And have no interest in taking on a pillion passenger.

My ZXR has a plate affixed to the frame which gives it single seat rego capability in QLD - still had the seat just had the pegs taken off.
That said, in the ACT we just have engine size classes no matter how many seats it has.
Try Vicroads website?

I would think the question is:
Is QLD the only place that does single seat rego(as a way to register cheaper)?

you can bet that anything that means cheaper rego will never see the light of day in NSW

Good to be a Qld'er

(both my bikes are single seat - $200 a year each)
We replaced the exhaust/pillion peg hangers with vortex ones, very nice

Spot on.
Would be a nice idea though to see rego and the greenslip reflect that less exposure to insurance risk with no pillion passenger.
