Yeah, web issues. Like the Internet doesn't work out in Wattieland where he's probably out testing Fireys bike
Onya Firey! One for the team!

Web page can sometimes go down - not sure why, as I am not that internet minded...
Email works, but I let slip that email from the 22nd of last month; sometimes I miss the odd one.
Firey's bike has not done that many laps as it goes - haven't even ridden it on the mundane commute home - it has had some fork work which has calmed down the acceleration "shakes", as well as this I have run a certain geezer here's shock in it with a spring to suit me so as to check its response and I have also played about some with the stock shock's settings.
Time is the killer ATM as there is a lot going on all at once and them painted wooden horses just keep going around and around to the music and won't take a break!
To go back to the 6R a minute, fascinating little chassis and even has shades of the B1 in there in some regards. I quite like it...

Somehow I have managed to completely cap my 200Gig bandwidth until tomorrow, so no Yahoo access (coz it chews); but KSRC works (!) somehow...
I think I have what I need to know about the 6R now, from now on it is just a matter of tailoring the results up n down 5-15% with little digressive or progressive/accumulating traits built in for each individual's preferences - ironically the numbers ended up with are not actually a million miles from where I was last year without having even ridden the bike!
A very productive morning (something must be wrong): one Gixxer fork, a remake of the Hafey shock and 10 minutes spent looking for the "nut" (in the sw-arm of course!); then a test-ride until the burgundy disco car stopped the "happy laps" (just joking Firey). Anyhow, Russ, you are good to go as soon as I spend the 7 minutes swapping out the shock - but thought to mention this in case the Firey one wants to swing by this arvo and try "it" as it is for a taster (hey, he may not like it right) - but his bike after all.
I don't really consider this a shock worth going up Peat's Ridge or Wollombi on, so the road going version will have to be closer to OEM - but let me know and I'll save the ripping out and altering stuff until tomorrow if necessary... (don't forget, no email 'til tomozz, due to no connection speed!)
