Right o the ZX10 i purchased from Don, over the east coast, should finnally be here in W.A in the next few days, so i have to get a road worthy done on it to get w.a rego, this is my question, i have had people say both things, 1 take the bike over the pits with the yoshi can on it with the fender eliminator on it and the intergrated front indicators and see if it gets threw let them pick em so they have got something to tick off next time you come threw, 2 or put it back to stock and have everything smick and know itll go threw first time ..... how picky are they inregards to front integrated indicators???? ill be taking it to Willagee near Freo...

SPALDO!!!!!!!!
please read this!!!!
if it still has rego on it in another state you can fill a form out and transfer it over without having to go over the pits. it has only just come in.
Am spewing because my bike now has no rego and i need to take it to stock to get rego on it again

You can't just switch state regos Philbo, its gotta go over the pits here to be eligible for WA state licensing. I had to do the same thing when I bought my Blackbird over with Queensland rego on it.
They're having a big crackdown on fender eliminators and other aftermarket parts right now, so best to make it as stock and as quiet as you can. That way you won't need to waste another day and $70 to go through the exercise again.
Flush mounted indicators are an iffy one. Sometimes they go through, sometimes they don't. Depends if your inspector got laid the night before or not.
On a side note, the Welshpool centre passes vehicles more easily I'm told.

Sure ZX?? We got both the GSF and the KLR transferred from current QLD to WA rego without pit inspection. Was pretty cheap too!
Done only last year!?

they've only just bought it in, spaldo you might be unlucky cos you haven owned it for a year. we were trying to do it for a mates car but because he couldnt prove ownership of it of greater than 12 months at the time only had his 6 month renewal on him they refused him.
where abouts are you located isle?

WA Philbo
Regional but that shouldn't make a difference. As far as i know , the missus took the plates and papers into the DPI and came back a little later and a little poorer with new WA plates and rego papers !?
Both were current QLD rego's . She had owned both for several years .
Worked out well coz both are a tad obnoxious to the ear for the average pit inspector (I had the bulk supply of steel wool wadding ready in case a pit inspection was required).
excuse my ignorance but WTF are "front integrated indicators"?? I know the fleabay rear integrated stop/tail/indicators are a no no!
