Other than that I have on 05 zx10r race bike (piccy in avatar)... I'm not racing for a few months due to a shoulder injury and may take the time to look out for a replacement...
Although I don't think I can justify buying a new zx10r to race atm..

So you are no. 77 not good to hear about the shoulder though, is it the result of years on the track or a specific stack?

The 05s were a good bike, pretty agressive machines the 2010 which is 2 generations after the 05 are a lot smoother bike, better power delivery and handling, best of all they (unlike the 2011 model) are on special

Yep, No 77 last year in FX formula oz, won't be this year as someone has registered my No...
Shoulder problem was originally from injury (torn rotator cuff) but on further investigation it appears age and an unhealthy lifestyle has taken its toll..
Severe arthtiris (for my age, as it was stated) and bone fragmentation has given me very limited movement and a bit of pain so an op is on the cards..
Bloody docs are always finding something else wrong with me...

I'm pretty happy with the 05, it goes well, would like to upgrade to the 2011 though, but will wait till they start coming up 2nd hand or wrecked to turn one into race a bike..

The zx6r price looks good though, maybe I need to scale down, for the sake of my shoulders..

If they didnt find anything wrong with you Dave they'd be out of a job by the sounds of it though I think it is definitely for the best that you stay off the track ...for a while anyway OUCH

The ZX6R is a spunky bike, thruth be told I prefer its overall looks to the new 10. its a goer as well
