No ;) ER6 yes.
Basically check out the LAMS list from the RTA..... that lists your only choices.

Yep!

But it's illegal and you're fu*#{d if you get caught or have a crash. ;)

I stopped riding my 250 after a month of red p's back when there was no green p's. Bought a ZX7R tracky for less then i sold the 250 and have never looked back. The money u save on rego and insurance goes towards trackdays. Much more fun too. And now u have green p's for 2 years it wouldve made my decision even easier. Just an option

Don't think the unrestricted er6 is LAMS. Need the er6nL.
If you're bored with your bike do a rider training course.

I have a fair idea but why?

How about you do some braking and cornering courses first ;)

having sampled a ninja 250, I can guess he wants something with a bit more instant get up and go :) the 250 is not exactly slow but there is a feeling of waiting for the engine to catch up to your thoughts of powerrrrrrrrrr! :) especially if ya got some extra weight to haul around

maybe dropping a tooth off the front sprocket would be a good thing to try before splurging on a new bike?

+1. Is it for more power or do you want a physically larger bike?

I ditched my ZZR250 not long after getting my P's because I struggled to fit on the thing and it hardly did 100km/h with me on it but if they had LAMS bikes back then I would have been happy to keep the learner legal bike for a lot longer. Sometimes wanting a bigger bike doesn't equate to wanting more power so I'm hoping that's what you are asking for.

Thanks For The Reply Everyone.

I want a bigger bike , because i am always on it , i dont so much enjoy riding around town , i like to travel ,

1 , The ninja 250's seat leaves your arse feeling like your sitting on cement .

2 . Im taller then average , so some days i feel like im a clown , riding a mini cycle

3. the high rpms at 80 - 100 kms , really annoys me. and on long trips , feels like im hurting the poor thing.

4. i bought the bike with 3000 kms on it , 3 months ago , it know has 6000 on the clock , i dont think a 250 is going to last my long distance riding .

Am happy with it . Just thinking i want a bigger bike in the next 12 months .

Thanks for the imput from everyone
