Anyone in the Windsor area have a portable welder, and knows how to use it.?

I'm fixing up a couple of things on the caravan and need to spot weld (lock up) a handful of bolts.

Yeap I do, or actually the old man does. Not great at using it though.

My dad should be ok to do it.

Cant get hold of him today but, as he is up the mountains.

turn it up to :burn ababy burn" and shut your eyes and poke it at the bit you wanna weld.

once finished, open eyes and see if bolt is still there, or melted to nothing

Got a decent Mig you can borrow...for as long as you want, its even in team colours but I don't have time to get out there & help in the next few weeks.... I am swamped atm.
Its loaded up on a trolley with a fresh bottle of argo
I also have access to Tig & a swag of stick welders of various sizes.

Failing the good looking ones offer before me and if you're up our way you can have mine, it's an Ozito gassless mig welder.

Do you have a welder though.?

Just have to tack 8 bolt heads on the suspension brackets to stop em rotating... They had a spline in em but its worn away.

I have a stick welder and i can weld ... PM if u need my assistance!!

Have a welding machine either arc or Mig ready and I will do it this weekend all going well.

I've got an Aldi special stick welder still in it's box. It's only a little thing but ought to be just fine for a couple of spot welds.

However getting P4nza to do it would probably be safer.

Ill bring my tafe certs if u want assurance!! top marks for MIG and MMAW
