How does one go about getting pushbikes mandated to have mirrors when they're on the road?

If I still could ride I would take up the whole lane as I use too do, sick of bloody other road uses cutting me off, and I am entitled to use the whole lane

I pay taxes, pay 5 rego's and reserve the legal right to ride a pushie, a horse, drive a steam engine, heard sheep along a road and hold you up and get animal turd alover your vehicle, or whatever the LAW says I can on the PUBLIC road. Even wear hi-vis vests and appropriate motorcycle clothing

Look in your own backyard before throwing this "legal" stone in your rightous glass houses and if you are squeeky clean law abiding citizen which I doubt, you wouldnt complain because at the speed limit you generally wont be surprised mid corner by a pack of savage cyclists because your speed being LEGAL and your riding to the conditions will allow you to take the correct action

Honestly I dont have a problem with them at all. Barely a blip in the throttle

Anyway, how are you suppose to maintain a register and licencing for pushbikes, every kid in the country would be booked for ilegal turns, no helmet or plate fell off, worn tyres, speed dangerous to grannys, riding on footpath, scallywag skate park offences, misc pants on the ground offences, they will do dragnet operations near schools and cornershops targeting hoon activities on pushies outside of sanctioned skate parks and wizzFizz abuse saliva tests
And at what age does a child become legally responsible for their own actions and the cost to administer a gazzillion pushbikes, another poorly thought out legal nightmare from the fun police..

Btw by far the worse annoyance on the road is slow arse road hogging motorcyclists who think they can out ride everyone and suddenly speed up when you catch up, usually BMW, P plate, R1 and HD riders overcooking their abilities and satisfying their egos, these people should stay at the cafe where they can stroke each others ego's in safety ffs.
Then a close 2nd is mobile phone users, also young women putting on makeup with a car full of friends using mobiles while eating and changing the CD.

Seriously....what if pushies were legalised and at the same they time made all cyclists and motorcyclists wear approved safety clothing and hi-vis vests?

We have the same problem in the U.S. of idiots. Mirrors would do no good as the dumb fuckers ride 4 abreast on two lane mountain roads with no passing lanes and will not move over. My moto is not quiet so they can't help but hear me. It's fun to split the bastards and go between them rather than around them, kind of shakes there shit. After doing that I stop up ahead and see if any of the yellow bastards wants to do anything about it, but it never happens unfortunately.
On the other side of the picture there are many good push bike riders out there as well and I give them every courtesy and respect as any other good driver or rider on the road.
