The rear shock on my 93 ZXR-750 is getting a bit tired. I have access to a ZX9 (B Model, Ithink) rear shock that is in good condition. Will this fit my 750?????
Any suggestions most appreciated.
Cheers, Jed

Is the ZX9 shock any less tired......

If its a B model one it would be 13 years old - minimum.
If it does fit - and I have no idea if it would, an inspection and measure will sort alot of those questions out - I'd get it serviced before it goes in

A later P model shock will fit, but you'll have to wind the rear ride height up a bit to clear the battery box. An 04/05 ZX10 shock should also fit.

Millions and millions have been spent developing bikes and unless you are a master in suspension i would not be just throwing in any shock cause it fits. I would realy ask someone in the know and get them to do the work if your thinking of fitting a shock of a different model
As i and Phil in this post have said to you. Do you realy know what your getting i have seen people get burnt buying second hand shocks you get about 5 race tech stickers when you buy there product and what happens when you stick the two on your own bike and the rest get given to a mate and WOW! he has a race tech to. If the work cant be proven then its just a standard shock to me and thats how you should be looking at this to. and if there second hand they werent good enough for there bikes but there good enough for you are they?

Give the boys at Krooz Tune a call or email Owen or Dave. If re-lifing the original, ship it to them, they just did my 2000 shock and I am pleased with the results.

Dave at Krooze tune, knows his stuff, as does stewie winton, walk around any track days and see how many bikes stewie has workrd on. if interested i can give u his number? he has moved from gembrook.
Dont kno about other guys comment about if its not on the bike, its prob no good, ive got a very good well set up shock off my 07 ten, resprung, reshimed, revalved, just sitting in a box, is for sale, ONLY reason its not on my bike is because ive wanted to fit a ohlins ttx36, which i now have.

Thanks guys
But I picked up a Race Tech built shock a little while ago. The difference is amazing.
