Thought I'd let people in the Hawkesbury know not to get their fuel from the United servo at Cranebrook.....Took the bike to work on Sat..Coming home it runs out of fuel...switch it over to the reserve
I'm thinking, will it make it to the mobil at Bligh Park...? If not, it's time to push it.Ok, i'll get to the United . As I'm filling up I can smell a distinct scent of KERO..Nah, theres no kero in this fuel..Balls there's not.
Bike runs shit..I gets the shits and decide to check the contents when I gets home...As soon as I lift the lid on the tank, the smell could have knocked you over..Drained a bit out, and it's black..Fuck..So I've drained out the tank and you want to see the shit in it...Pricks..Never again...Be warned Hawkesbury people...G..

was it the ethanol,standard or there premium ?

the local weights and measures guys like to hear of these sorts of things
(think they are part of Consumer Affairs these days)

I have heard of the servos coughing up for the clean out of tanks and fuel systems
the $100,000 fine usually means they dont do it again

Ive always avoided where possible the "united" brand. Ive always had a suspicion that they always just look cheap and dodgy and guess my suspicions are confirmed.

Guess ill just keep avoiding them!

On reporting them and keeping a sample, my dad recently had over $3,000 worth of damage to one of his cars engines because of crap fuel from one of the united stations which he had to reclaim via Dept. Fair Trading along with a number of other people, it is worth pursuing.
