I'm curious.
Bikesales, gumtree, ebay, trading post? Where have you had the most luck.

For me, I've had nothing from gumtree. A few serious bites from ebay and lots of silly offers.
Funniest was cash + a supercharger kit for some commodore that's supposedly worth $4k.
Maybe he should spend the cash on a Commodore instead of a zx10?

Bike Point or Bikesales. I have used both and if your bike is sensibly priced for a bike that people want you will sell it. You may not get a huge response but it will sell.

Bad time of the year to sell though.

Bikesales has always worked for me. Put your price in and then if you don't get any bites, lower it slightly until you start getting calls. When you start getting calls you know you're about on the money.

Good luck with it mate. I hate selling bikes because you get all sorts of tossers calling you. One bit of advice though, when someone calls get a return landline from them and ring them back on that. If they don't give it to you tell them to bugger off. It filters most of the thieves out pretty quickly.
