Its phone upgrade time... I'm not up on the latest bits as I just use mine to talk to ppl on..

Yep the 6700 or c5 are pretty easy to use and have your basic features. If that is your limited range and you only want to talk to people then they are your best bets.

The only problem with those is they don't have wifi connectivity and I would like to use it on my home wifi..
The E5 does but its a bit big...

Get the android then..you can get apps n shit too
Ring em up and get an iphone 3gs 8gb. They are cheap as shit now, should give you one..

just got one and decent bit of gear , esp for the price
since virgin use optus then he wont have any dramas
reports abound that it isnt locked anyway
android based
at least you can stick MP3's in and not use itunes
