My 03 ZX6R

Purchased the bike a couple of weeks ago and so far am impressed with it for it's size.

Has Braided front brake lines, K&N filter and Akropovic slip on muffler.

Should have it on the dyno next week to check fuel mixtures etc.

First money I will be spending on the bike will be steering damper in the near future.

A couple of pics. I will up date the pics soon as I get a chance as I have chopped the muffler a little and cleaned it up. Just one of the thing's I prefer and now makes the bike my own.

Nice! I have a green one with a chopped titanium can as well haha.

How do you find the ride? specifically in the rear

The ride is a little harsh over all but I dont mind it. The rear is set up soft by the adjuster but is still pretty stiff lol.

The front end wobble under hard acceleration at high speed i'm not happy at all about but is the first thing I will be spending money on to eliminate. Could be just my bike but have been reading a few people with the same issue through the internet.

Haha I didn't even pick up on the wording.

A little up date.

In the last 4 day's managed to do over 1300km's on the bike. Lot's of fun riding.

After pulling the Nitro x thing of I am now getting 230km before the fuel light comes on where before I was getting 180!!!!. Huge difference.

Got the bike on the dyno today and managed a best of 103.71.

AFR ratio's were a little rich most of the way through and dipped up and down a lot at the earlier part of the throttle and the power curve dipped up and down at the same time.

Ill see if I can get a pic up later of the dyno sheet.

Not the best pic but should be able to work it out. As you can see a trim of the fuel all the way through should show some pretty big result's.

Got a number of thing's happening at the moment with cars, bikes and house lol and really want to sort the front end out first but early in the new year will be purchasing a power commander and put back on the dyno. Can't wait!!

The longer 3 runs were in 5th gear turning to 16000rpm and the power was dropping off after the shift light at 14000rpm.
The shorter 2 runs were in 4th gear and only went to shift light at 14000rpm.
All runs started around 5000-6000rpm

sweet thanks for that. Maybe I should invest in a PC too, having seen the a/r curve.

Which steering damper are you looking at getting? maybe we can go together for a cheaper deal hehe

A seller on ebay will do the hyper pro damper and the mounting kit for $560 delivered.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT

I was suppose to be getting one this week but spent to much $$ on my holiday last week lol.

If your keen in the near future I can contact them and see if they will do a deal on two although there selling them pretty cheap to start with. It's worth a try though.
