Team Green Cyprus

The Athenian tour has come to a end, 3 months of great weather riding; Sydney's weather is depressing since returning! Anywho last stop on my tour was Cyprus, had plenty of time to tour it with a kwaka, was kindly donated to me to by my cousin who is the parts manager at the kawasaki dealership in Nicosia. Travelling to/from Pathos, Protora, Ayia Napa, Larnaca, Limassol & Nicosia are basically interconnected by nice highways which are rather cop friendly, allowing you to indulge your kwaka craving.

For those who are interested, Team Green CYP in a nutshell featured below.

The ZX-12 sums it all up! ... although why it's on a stand and not on the road is beyond me

That and no trafficators, brake light; there's a big race fetish.

The cops seem to turn a blind eye .....

Thats because they took it out of the Maestro box that you buy at the service station ;)
(they often do get it wrong for color/model)

Pre 2003 model, prolly coz they didnt sell well so it sat around so they blinged it or whatever, or someone got scared to ride it.. unlikely as they are tame. ;)

Interesting color scheme as that didn't come to AU until the following year for the new updated 04-05 radial calipers blah blah blah.

Yes they are. In the 4th shot the owner of the bike just purchased it, he told me he brought it in as a "grey import". 3rd shot, he added the front darkened headlight protectors and "stick on number plate". I gather he did the number plate thing to get compliance/rego.

Road.

ER6N - Seem's like a good everyday bike to get around on.
ZZR600 - Nice bike, makes riding the little 250R depressing.
ZX6R - Great bike, looking forward to getting one in AUS, once off LAMS.
ZX10R - OMG, overwhelmed by the power, quickly handed back the key. Learn/master the ZX6R first then worry about a litre.

Xross.

CR80 - Surprisingly alot of fun but rather small
KTM600 - She's got some kick!

Quad.

Raptor 700. Its good, but 4 wheeler action on road tyres isn't my thing. Seems to a big fuzz with them over there at the moment.

I hired a quad in DOHA, Qatar for a few hours out in the desert, flying up/down the big dunes was awesome.
