I had a ride of a ZRX1100 today and it was an utter piece of shit. Speedo cable fell off, bent handlebars, leaked oil, and rattled in the engine, exhaust and dash, which wasn't attached. BUT what surprised me was how well it rode otherwise. It felt like a smaller version of mine (I thought they were physically the same size) and slightly slower. Obviously abused it still rode quite well. Tough old nail huh! Still prefer the 12 though. 
Wouldn't mind getting a cheap one for a trackbike.
