While the dollars good... a few questions

Hey team

Long time no speak :)

I've been considering lately the purchase of a Tri oval TRS Yoshi slipon set for my zed. The price seems reasonable and I have to admit I have a soft spot for the yoshi tri ovals.

I'm not overly fussed about a full system but my only question is, is it worth getting the power commander (It would seem the PC V is the only available model for my bike) as well. Or really since they're just slip ons not going to make too much of a difference power commander or not?

This transaction might not actually occur but was looking for thoughts around the use of a PC V + slip ons vs just the use of slip ons for a bit of extra noise :)

Also, where do people get there bits from in the states, ebay it or is there some good online shops with reasonable pricing?

no need for a PCV or the like if your not after extra power

www.starcycle.com

these guys are reasonable and very reputable. There are many others that the rest may chime in with.

Or try morepowerracing or ridersdiscount, or have a look at bikegearwarehouse in Aus if they're cheap.

God your ugly D :kuda:

My opinion (as stated on the phone) Try BGW http://www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au/Mot ... ts/2010_10

Matt Mladin owns it and your keeping your dollars in Australia. You might pay a little more to deal locally but at the end of the day your helping keep an aussie in a job.

thanks for the feedback guys!

I've been able to source them for roughly 500 aussie plus 150 or so postage.

With those kinda savings versus buying local, I can afford the Power commander for the same price :)

What year is your zed disco? Wondering if I actually buy the fuckers I could have a peek at your map :)

Just make sure you have a air/fuel ratio test done.
Putting pipes and a filter on my zed leaned it out very badly.

Stupid question but does the bike have to go on a dyno to have this done?
