Rider's bike impounded during fatal weekend
Police have caught a motorcyclist speeding at 60 km/h over the limit on a popular tourist route at the weekend.
The 25-year-old Newton man was detected travelling at 140km/h along the Great Ocean Road at Aireys Inlet on Saturday morning.
He has lost his licence for 12 months and had his motorcycle impounded under the hoon legislation.
The incident follows the deaths of three motorcyclists in separate accidents on Victorian roads over the weekend.
