Probably a re-post here but
whos got what on their ZRX in a full system. I have sussed out ZRXOA and still can't decide.
Too many options, but probably limited by price as usaul. So far it's a toss up between
Akra, S/S Titanium muffler, $830.00 U.S.. Part no. S-K12S1-T. Priced today in OZ was $ 1790.00.
REMUS,S/S, Titanium revolution muffler, $895.00U.S. part no. 518802-368001
MUZZY S/S oval Titanium muffler , $1090.00 U.S.
HINDLE S/S, oval Titanium muffler, $895.00.U.S. Part no. ZRX1100ss gpr202ov
KERKER meg. $895.00. U.S.
I also like some of the Jap ones but too much hassle to get, I think.
Yes I like the Titanium Can.
I will get a Factory Pro 2.5 kit at the same time. they seem to get the best result with a standard motor no Pods ( I want to keep the air box).
any thoughts???

Gedday Arkup - I've got a bulldogged Hindle full Titanium system on my '06 - revs nicely and sounds the goods. I got it at a good price secondhand.
The Kerker boyz will be along in a moment
Moriwaki man does some good prices on Japanese systems from time to time - email him from the ZRXOA site and get prices for comparison.
They're all good so go for it.

I've got an Akra full system on mine which was on it when I bought it. It worked well with the standard filters and no jetting but works so much better with a stage 3 jet kit, timing advancer and pods. It puts out a couple more horses than the Muzzy and doesn't have any flat spots but also doesn't have the look of the Muzzy or Kerker meg. We'll be through Singleton on Friday morning on the way up to the Oxley if you want to check it out.

If its about looks and sound NOTHING beats a Kerker Meg.
If its HP numbers your chasing the Akra, Arata, Muzzy Meg would be better options.
Still, I'm very happy with my Kerker (stage 1 jet kit, +2 advancer and std airbox).

Thats the thing rooster. I had a Kerker Meg on my old 1170 GPZ...Sweet sound on the gas. I like the Kerkers, but I think the Rex needs the best Headers I can afford to put on it. The Akras' seem to develop the best H.P. with a jet kit as with the MUZZY, and the cops aren't probably gonna hassle me as much for noise..... They are C>>>s around my area. The first tme I rode my GPZ around town after moving to where I live, I got booked.
If I can eventually get about 135 H.P. out of it I will be stoked.
My Z1000J (1260 MTC kit) race bike is putting out 135HP and 94ft/lbs torque at 6500rpm ...it fucken screams,by the way it's running Kerker Headers with home made 2-1/2"bore muffler.

But it's got the goods in the motor.
Nelso, what time do you reckon you will be cruising through?

Hey Arkup,

Yeah I 'm thinking now maybe Akra or Muzzy.
Note the Zrx pillion peg brackets on the photo. Old frame has the same angle as the ZRX, I just had to make the mounting lugs and weld on the frame. Then change the angle of the pipe for the Kerker muffler and fit to the pillion peg bracket. Normally on the old GPZ and J's the muffler is about level with the axle. I did this mod in Y2K

Mine puts out 138 H.P. and 125 NM of torque and doesn't have the slight dip at around 5-6000 RPM like the Muzzy. It's also the quietest of all full systems on the ZRX's that get together around here. To be honest I like the look and sound of the Muzzy and Kerker megs better, but it sounds like the Akra will better suit your purpose. Follow the Oxley thread to find out what time we'll be in Singo but we stop to refuel and have a pie at the bakery on John St so we are usually there for a little while.
