Had a full on maintenance day on the 9 and the 14 today with Seiko!

started playing with the beast's at around 10:30am and finished at 6:30pm

seiko spent the full day shining the shit out of his 14 while i stripped the hell out of the 9

front fairings, side and bellypan came off, then moved onto the ripping the tank off. cleaned the air filter (was caked up with so much shit ) cut and trimmed the wires from my neons and power socket, cleaned out so much greese and shit from around the chain and sprockets. Then finally moves onto the cleaning :D , all over scrub with the toothbrush and soft wash which moved onto the maguires polish (she's shiney now!) im amazed in how well that brings up the shine to your bike :kuda:

was a great day even after finding that there was hidden flaws underneith the fairings, like missing fairing bolts, the radiator guard twist tied to the.......through the radiator  , bolt heads snapping off ect ect.........

next mission...........adjust the suspention :kuda:

Huge Thanks To Seiko For The Help Today And For The Use Of Your Tools And Cleaning Gear...........Cheers Buddy :kuda:

Nothing more unsatisfying when you've spent a whole day cleaning and detailing your bike and the very next ride you take it on it rains :P Happens to me without fail just about every time

zip ties and gaffa tape are the way of the future. my old bike was held together by the stuff.

seriously, what is there that zip ties can't do. I eliminated 2 rattles on the 6 the other day with a couple of zip ties. Bike was really giving me the shits at 5k RPM (which is where I usually sit when riding calmly) had 2 seperate rattles. fixed now :)
