Heard the exhaust and the down shift in gears, looked out the office window and there he was coming to a stop at the lights. ZX6R & rider resplendent in T-shirt , thongs, no gloves. I suppose he was wearing jeans.....and in Melbourne, not exactly tropical weather here.

Each to their own. If you believe that the sweet smell of skin sliding along tar is preferable to leather well hats off to them.

Going home last night i usually have a chat to the parking attendants at work (yes we have valet parking ) there was a security guard there with him and we started talking about bikes, the attendant made a smart ass comment about all my riding gear and i told him that i valued my skin, although i may have squidded once or twice since ive been riding. Turns out the guard used to ride a 10, until he t-boned a car at 50km/h wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
Many skin grafts later he is back to looking somewhat normal, but he showed us his scars and they werent pretty, looked like the toxic avenger
He says he has learnt his lesson now but wishes he thought about it back then.

Eventually, most will learn their lesson, but people do dumb shit all the time, its human nature
