Gday all,
went riding today, was being a bit of a dick, but saw no cops or undercovers or anything, didn't get pulled over etc etc.
got a voicemail just then from a cop, hes ringing me back in an hr, left a message saying he wanted to discuss an incident that happened today.
what should my plan of attack be if he accuses me of something?
deny everything? act sheepish? any ideas what would get a cop calling you on a saturday night and not just coming over and saying "we saw you do xxxx"?
nervous as hell :/

a few small mistaken identity things in the past, cops just needed info but i'm sure they created a file on me and linked rego/mob to it.

Speaking of an incident... saw a new Lotus with its whole bonnet under the arse end of a 4wd this arvo on Pennant Hills Rd.....

don't think his insurance company will be happy.....
Stupid thing was the traffic was heavy as hell with the start of school Hols, like car park type traffic from 1/2 way along the M2 to way past Mt colah
Just trying to take your mind off it with a slight hijak

ask him straight up if he's taping the call. doubt he'd call if it was a charge against you. suspect he'd have to caution you to use whatever you say as evidence. apart from that what rob said.

not helping. just been reading about HWY patrol in undercover hotted up cars enticing you to drag and then getting you with video after the fact.

If it was anything serious you would have had a visit by now.
Play it cool and see what he has to say...just listen and then if it is some serious accusation then tell him you will respond after talking to your solicitor. As before say nothing about what he may be accusing you off...that way you don't have to acknowledge or deny anything.
Good luck...

Just got off so so lightly. Neg driving ticket coming in the mail. The hsv I dragged wasn't a cop the cop was in an unmarked camry behind us. Could have taken both our vehicles charged with street racing speedin and dangerous driving so yeah i just fessed up straight away and copped it. Don't mind as long as I keep license.

I have no doubt some here will criticise you for that, but I personally applaud you for being man enough to cop it on the chin.

yeah, I figured between karma, and me being so very clearly in the wrong...
even if he didn't have video footage he had 2 cops in the car and he said they pulled the HSV over, but had no chance of catching me so just let me go and took my rego. I got up past the top of first gear in a 60 zone, so yeah.
he was talking about street racing and charges and confiscating vehicles.
anyway,
its over, I have my license -3 points and a few hundred $$$ reminder to keep my cool and don't do stupid shit in town.

BTW, I absolutely smashed the HSV, it was one of these
http://www.hsv.com.au/e3/showroom/default.aspx?id=GTS except it had special edition shit all over it, the cop said it was one of the brand new $100,000+ ones.
holden - 0
kawasaki - 1
cops - 1,000,000 lol.
