What a bunch of cocksmokers
Simple thing.....transfer from one address to another and change to ADSL2+ and Home phone.
Simple? then why have those dickheads managed to make a COMPLETE balls up of it?
I have had several progress reports since I spent 33 mins on the mobile to them as sds001 Account.
All I did was to "reply" to an e-mail enquiring as to why they had charged double the quoted price on my credit card....
They sent back that sds001 was taken and I should choose another name....I replied again that I had already been
confirmed as sds001 and was merely asking about the charge.....
They sent back...sds001 is taken already and I would have to use 001sds....
Now I am getting progress reports for sds001 and 001sds...FFS you #*@#*%$#@!$!^&*()$##nts
Dumb doesn't even come close

.......
I'm so tempted to say..."fucken C###y muncher's"
I have now sent e-mails with "confirmation e-mails attached" to all three of the departments that "seem" to be part of the
process..................process?

so we'll see what happens next

The only good thing about TPG is that the ombudsman hates them too. After all the crap I had going with them, that's where it ended up, and that was before anything even got connected. Thankyou iinet, I have had no dramas with you

Checked e-mail this morning and had a message to ring them....
responded "bugger that I'm not spending a fortune on hold again"

They rang within minutes of me sending it
and put me straight on hold

for 7 minutes
Seems to be sorted now.............................................we shall see

Best thing when you get someone with a 'different' accent is to ask to transferred to an australian call centre.

You have to admit though, that *IS* funny.
Reminds me, i was on the phone to one of our customers on Monday morning and he complained about not being able to understand one of the other guys i work with. Yes he is indian, but he is so damned easy to understand on the phone, and i've had much more trouble understanding one of the other guys that i was surprised.
I guess it takes all sorts, on both ends of the phone!
But good luck with the arse-ache that is TPG, i'm with iinet too. I know they have a call centre in South Africa for after hours support and one in Perth too (i think they still do), and they are very good to deal with.

I used to work at TPG, back then I couldn't get $5 out of them for advertising, now the fuckers are everywhere and still all Sydaney based too except for the Indian call centre of course. As for Iinet, never heard a bad word about them.

Have to say...I've been with TPG for quite a while now (over 2 years I think) and never had a problem with them. Use the support email and it's usually pretty good....even when I've moved it's been good.
Sorry to hear you're having problems mate
