Not sure if it's just because I am getting older but I still found it strange that i just recieved my cheapest Green slip ever even on the back of the latest hikes.
2008 ZX10r 29year old rider
Allianz
RTA Green Slip comparo guide = 406
Allianz actual quote = 370
guess it paid to give them a call.
Has everyone else been reemed or has it been relatively unchanged?

And that is the problem, my 1200cc motorcycle will not have the same performace and consequently - less chance of crashing. So mwhy is it twice as much as before.
Lets face it it Ru$$, its all you fuckers on your sportsbikes

that are crashing and that brings all of us law abiding - um, elder gentlemen on 1200cc motorbikes - more expensive green slips

I'am about to pay mine & it's the same price as yours
2000 ZX9R 39 year old rider
Allianz $406/ year or $210/ 6 months
Looks like they just think of an amount & stick it to everyone.

Every year without fail, I go to the maa website and obtain quotes from all green slip insurers
http://www.maa.nsw.gov.au/
And I save at least $100 every year for doing so!

Do you only need to be old enough or does it require membership?

Badically the new sceme screws everyone on 250 and below and every one on 1100 and above.
yay for litre bike

Still, they should not have increased the price of a 250. As the most common cc they should ecourage cheaper transport less congestion etc, but at the end of the day we all know they dont give a shit about us.

Mine will be significantly cheaper next year... But then I was being unfairly lumped with all the litre bikes before hand. So it's all swings and roundabouts

Russ, your greenslip may be cheaper based on where you live. Postcode has a massive influence, generally the closer to city the more screwed you get.
