Yeah, A friend of mine and another KSRC member, drove down from Sydney to Melbourne a few days ago and was faced with two Hume Freeway diversions due to the flood waters, so it's obviously a tad wet up there!!!!!!

So geographically where are these floods? Just wondering how long it will take for the water to disappear hopefully it will be back to situation normal in the next 6 weeks?

Its north, north/ west & and some east " bairnsdale" or gippsland if you like. This should only last the next week or so, in 6 weeks time you should be sweet as a nut " except for the locust plague "

It would have only needed a bit more and the Hume would have been blocked at Tarcutta. We still have a lake here as the last one was just going down before the weekends rain. Who knows what will happen in the next week...

We've had two days of "dry", so I thought Sunday arvo, jump on the ZRX about 3pm, roads will have gotten rid of any damp and a quick squirt up Myers Creek Rd then onto Mt Slide would clean out the cobwebs. Bugger me, I get as far as Coldstream and it starts raining again, not heavy but enough to make the roads wet. Ended up through Yarra Glen and turned left towards Eltham & Warrandyte away from the rain. The annoying part is I could see blue sky. At least I'm not wearing out the BT-014's.

It was dry down around Noojee and the rain has washed all the bark off the Willow Grove Road. :D :D :D
Did almost 400k and no rain at all.
