Afternoon All,
Just to keep you up dated, travelling home on monday night and cab crosses road in front of me. I hit brakes but slame into passenger door. Got up straight away and moved bike to the side of the road, but bike is not well. I think she is a write off as have spoken with Kawasaki and they dont even stock half the parts that are needed to repair her now.
I am ok, hurt right hand, neck and bot legs but nothing boken which is good.
Cab has accepted libality and i have three seperate witnesses who are colaborating my story.
It is just horrible, i really liked my bike and now it is toast.

There is always a silver lining. Maybe you can take the money the insurance pays you out, buy back the wreck and rebuild it yourself if you like it that much????

Or alternatively, buy something else you really like!!!

Just keep in mind you can't register repairable write offs anymore. You may use it as a track bike..

Wasn't sure of his state as it isn't on his profile. However, you can always come to a cash agreement with the insurance company and not have it written off.

Bugga to hear that, but glad you're ok!
Bikes are probably going to be harder to write off now because the insurance company won't get as much money back at auctions, so they'll be fixing more.
