Fat gecko and some video!

I bought the fat gecko to use on the bike. It really does suck on very hard. I went for a quick cruise up the mountain to test it out. I think i may have left one part undone which may have cause a little more shake, but since my camera weight about 1.2kg, it does move around a bit. Hopefully get more stable setup and use it on some nice smoothe roads.
here is a quick video, best to watch at 1080p, on small or big screen (the movement is a bit distracting on the big screen though).

Just a hint, blip the throttle before your down changes to get the revs up a bit :D

I had a look at Richo's FG setup at Marulan...very impressive for the stability it has.

Good vid - what camera did you use on that?

Yes it is quite strong sucktion, but it also can shake a fair bit especially if you use heavier cameras on it. If you were using it off the side of a car you would want to be on very smoothe road or else it would jump around alot. I used my dslr that has video ( canon 7D), it is rather heavy, but i managed to keep it fairly stable with foam and tape :D
